Three hoodlums neutralized as police set IPOBs camps ablaze

Three hoodlums suspected to be members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Enugu State, South Eastern Nigeria have been neutralized by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.

The outlaws met their waterloo during a gun duel with a team of Policemen led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Operations in the Command, DCP Olasakin Akinbayo on Thursday in Imofo forest, Igbueze Local government Area of the State.

Reports revealed that the onslaught against the elements, preceded a disturbing viral video of some hoodlums in a Toyota space bus, threatening to unleash mayhem on residents of the State that disobey “sit-at-home order” in the State.

Consequently, the DCP Akinbayo led his men to the territory of the criminal elements, according to reports and launched attack on IPOBs camps in Imofo forest and neutralized the the suspects.

Military uniforms, guns and a cache of ammunition and IPOBs effigy and other items were recovered by the police at the camps which were also set ablaze by the police.
