Edo State Security Network (ESSN) Commander, Mr. Stanley Aigbe cheated death when gunmen attacked his residence in Evbuomoma Community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, killing a dog that attempted to fend off his attackers who made away with valuables.
Sources said a Plasma television set, gold jewelry, and other personal effects were looted during the attack on the home of the Commander in charge of Sokponba axis in Benin.
Gunshots by the invaders who laid siege to his house for hours before launching the attack that caused panic among local residents
and significant damage to doors and windows.
Aigbe’s family, who was at the house during the attack, had fled their home due to safety concern, according to sources privy to the renewed hostilities that previously claimed some lives and destroyed property in Evbuomoma.
