Saudi, UK-bound Cocaine in lipsticks intercepted by NDLEA

Personnel of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have intercepted United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia bound cocaine consignments concealed in lipsticks and property title documents.

NDLEA’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi said in a statement on Sunday that the illicit drug consignments were recovered from cargos being prepared for shipment at a Courier company in Lagos.

The suspects lid was blown open on Thursday 3rd July 2025 by NDLEA officers in charge of the Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) attached to the logistics firm, NDLEA said its men also recorded breakthroughs in it’s war against illicit drug trafficking in MMIA, Lagos, Seme, Kogi, Osun, Borno, Kano, Edo, Kaduna, Cross River, Kebbi and Taraba Commands during the week under review.
