Police recover firearm from fleeing Edo revenue collector, nab 2 suspects

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Command in Edo State have arrested two unauthorized revenue collectors who allegedly flouted the State’s government directive, suspending revenue collections across the State indefinitely.

The suspects were caught during police patrol few days ago in Aduwawa Community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the State.

The Command’s spokesman, SP Moses Yamu confirmed the incident in an interview with our Reporter at the weekend in Benin City.

He also revealed that “one Pump action gun allegedly abandoned by other fleeing suspects was recovered by the police operatives”.
