The founder Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has disclosed plans to arrange the marriage of one of his adopted daughters, a 21-year-old autistic woman named Chiemeka Chibuzor.
The Cleric who offered a package of financial incentives and welfare guarantees to any man that agrees to marry her, said on Tuesday via a Facebook post by Chinyere, who described the arrangement as being in the young woman’s best interests.
“I am giving out another of my adopted daughters in marriage. Her name is Chiemeka Chibuzor. She is 21 years old and has autism. She can speak and hear well,” according to the press statement.
He explained that any man who wants to marry her must be a young man who is physically strong and mentally fit. He also said the man must be responsible and able to take good care of her.
The cleric also promised that the man who agrees to the marriage will receive some benefits.
The incentives, include financial support, a free house for life, and a house that will be built in the names of both the husband and the wife.
In addition, Chinyere revealed that staff from his organization will always check on them from time to time to make sure she is safe and doing well.

The widely publicized wedding drew mixed reactions, with critics raising concerns about consent, dignity, and the ethics of arranging marriages for people with cognitive disabilities, according to multiple reports.
