Oba of Benin enjoins Christians to emulate Christ’s virtues at Easter

His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin has enjoined Christians to emulate the virtues of Christ in their daily living.

Easter Celebration, is global and yearly festival in the Christian Calendar to mark the crucifixion, death and Christ’s resurrection.

Oba Ewuare II said this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Iguobaro Osaigbovo on the occasion of the 2023 Easter celebrations.

The Oba also “admonishes believers and faithful of the Christian faith, to be Christ-like and pray fervently to God for forgiveness of sins”.

He also prayed that the grace and the goodness of God be upon Nigeria in his message where he felicitates with Christians on Easter Celebrations.

“The Omo N’Oba N’Edo prays that the grace and the goodness of God be upon our dear Country Nigeria”, according to the statement.
