Nigeria drifting without opposition— Bode George

A former deputy national Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George says the ship of state is drifting into a dangerous territory, without a viable opposition party in sight ahead of the next general elections.

He made the assertion on Tuesday during an interview on Arise Television where he however urge the coalition of eminent Nigerians to rescue the Country from ridicule.

He urged President Bola Tinubu to wake up his responsibility having exceeded the grace period to experiment in government and sit up and address rising inflation and chaotic fuel increase in the ailing Nigeria economy.

According to him, “The ship of State is drifting. And we do not have a viable opposition party.
The fact that we did not handle our 2023 primaries during the national Convention”.

With alleged violation to PDP Constitution and outright disregard to its zoning the formula, the PDP national leader maintained that, the crisis was bound to spill, noting that, “I am old enough to understand the dynamics of power”.

He called on the national leadership of PDP through its various organs to carryout a postmortem analysis on the abysmal failure of the party in the 2023 Presidential election and embark on peace building in order to avoid making further mistakes in future elections.

Wike, stoked the hornet nest weekend that he will put fire in States whose Governors get in conflict between him and his successor, Governor governor, Similanayi Fubara.
