President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated his wife, Senator Oluremi, on her 66th birthday, describing her as his trusted friend, confidante and a source of strength throughout their years together.
In a birthday message issued by the State House on Sunday, September 21, 2026, the President said Oluremi had stood by him with “patience, grace and uncommon courage” through difficult and uncertain periods of their lives.
Tinubu said his wife had not only shared his burdens but had also provided counsel and support, particularly during challenging moments.
He described Oluremi as a woman who speaks truthfully to him, saying he values her honesty even when her counsel may be difficult to hear.
The President also commended her humanitarian activities, noting her work through the New Era Foundation and the Renewed Hope Initiative, which he said had benefited children, widows, elderly citizens and women farmers across the country.
He also acknowledged her advocacy for people affected by tuberculosis and other diseases, describing her compassion as extending beyond ethnic, regional and religious boundaries.
Reflecting on their years together, Tinubu said their journey had included difficult decisions, sacrifices, laughter and prayers, adding that their family had been sustained by Oluremi’s devotion and faith.
“If life returned me to the beginning, I would choose the same road that led me to you,” the President said.
He prayed for his wife to enjoy many more years in good health and happiness, and thanked her for the life and family they had built together.
