Insecurity: Reverend Mbaka demands probe into govs security votes

Date:

Nigerian Catholic Priest, Reverend Father Ejike has demanded probe into security votes allocations to Governors across the federation, amid rising spate of banditry and killings.

Mbaka gave the assertion in a viral video where he called on Nigerians to demand accountability from their leaders and sustain the pressure on them for the release of hostages in captivity, including Oyo school teachers and pupils who were abducted by armed bandits since May.

In view of the security crisis facing the Country, “Governor Makinde, wake up. Let Nigerians should match to Oyo. There is a Governor there (Oyo).

“We should hold Tinubu responsible if he is holding security votes of States.

“If they want to overthrow the President, it is not by kidnapping our children, so that Nigerians will be angry with the President. That was what they did against Jonathan. They have started it again.

“Under a prophetic anger, I speak, it shall not be well with those who are doing this thing. Because today, it is these Children, who knows who will be the next victim? Don’t think that you are safe”, according to Mbaka.
