Hunt killers of Abia soldiers, FG tells military

President Bola Tinubu has ordered Nigeria military to hunt killers of five soldiers by the military wing of IPOB proponent of sit-at-home enforcers at Aba in Abia State, South East.

He gave the directives in a statement on Saturday barely two months after the gruesome murder of 17 military personnel at Okuoma in Delta State.

The Federal Government, according to the President would not condone the killing of the soldiers, assuring that those responsible would be punished.

He described the killing of the soldiers as “treasonable offence” and “unwarranted barbaric and evil acts”.

Tinubu also condoled with the families of the slain soldiers and the entire Armed Forces.

According to him, security agencies to not only “fish out the masterminds and perpetrators of the Aba attack but also those calling on people to stay at home”.
