Hackers steal NUJ chairman social media accounts

The chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Nasarawa State Council, Comrade Salihu Mohammed Alkali, has lost his social media accounts to hackers, stealing data.

 

Shuaibu Usman Muhammad, Special Adviser to the Chairman on Media and Strategy confirmed this in a public disclaimer on Wednesday.

 

He revealed that hackers infiltrated his account by “some unidentified and unscrupulous elements”.

 

The Council urged members of the public are urged to disregard any financial offers and solicitations in the name of the NUJ Chairman as he cannot be held responsible for anything.

 

“You are all encouraged to extend this message of caution to other platforms and individuals in order to avoid any fraudulent activities, please”, according to the union.
