Gunmen have been kidnapped Edo State Chairman of Peoples Democratic party, Dr Anthony Aziegbemi.
He was kidnapped at the entrance of residence on Country home Hotel, Ugbor, GRA in Benin City on Saturday morning by yet-to-be identified armed men.
It was leant that the gunmen who waited patiently for his gatekeeper to open the gate for outdoor event, when they picked him.
The gunmen who did not fire gunshot during the incident took him alone into their waiting van and left his driver before they drove off quietly.
The Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki and security agencies in the State have been briefed about the incident.
TheNewspad reports that his kidnappers are yet-to open communication link with distraught family of Aziegbemi or his party.
