Graduate Orphan dies in road crash 24 hours to her wedding

A Computer Science graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Oko (name withheld) has reportedly died in a road crash in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

THE VICTIM

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is yet to reveal the cause of the accident.

But it was learnt that the victim was travelling to her home town at Oko in  the company of her spouse in a when the accident happened.

The Orphan who was billed to wed on Saturday May 20th 2023, after defending her project two ago.

She rounded off her Higher National Diploma Examinations (HND) final Examination in April 2023, according to a dependable source.

The source, “The deceased finished her HND final examinations last month and defended her final year project on Thursday 18th May 18, 2023”.

The victim in a social media post, had dedicated her “success to her long gone dead parents”, shortly after her final year Examinations”.

She was said to be coming back  home to celebrate her success and get ready for her traditional marriage scheduled this Saturday.

Attempts to contact the Director  of Media of the institution was also not successful.

A head of Computer Science Department who didn’t want his name mentioned confirmed the incident.” Yes my dear we lost her. It is bitter,and we pray God to give her internal rest.”

When also contacted the Anambra police Command Public Relations officer, DSP Ikenga Toochukwu said he is yet to get brief of the incident.
