Fubara puts Wike, his supporters on notice

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has vowed to crush the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike and his supporters politically in future polls.

Represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr Ehie Edison at Supreme Court victory party tagged, “The simplified Movement” held on Friday in Emohua Local Government Area of the State, Fubara said

He said, “They wanted war. They wanted bloodshed. They wanted crisis. But, the Governor in his peaceful nature and disposition said instead of war, let there be peace. That is why he accepted every agreement and every resolution. That is not a sign of weakness.

“He (Fubara) is a man of wisdom. The Governor is a man that calculates. The time for election has not come. We know what they know, but they do not know what we know.

“When it’s time for the real politics, we will teach them what they do not know. What your mother told me, my mother told me. What your mother taught you, my own mother also taught me”, Fubara said.

The Governor eulogized President Bola Tinubu for his steadfastness on his election victory and commended the Nigeria judiciary for truly been a beacon of hope.

He also assured that he will never abandoned his social contract with the people of Rivers, noting that his administration will remain focus and deliver the dividend of democracy.

The FCT Minister had in one of his past interviews lamented that considers his investment in Fubara his successor as a waste.
