Fire wreck havoc at Kada Cinema, Igbinedion in shock

Last week Saturday night fire has wrecked havoc at Kada Cinema Plaza, Cross River State.

The conglomerate, owned by a former Governor of Edo State, Mr Lucky Igbinedion, is located Marina Resort Area in the State.

Stock worth millions of Naira was said to have been destroyed before the arrival of fire fighters, according to reports.

A Cross River State government official who spoke who bemoaned the disaster, assured that thorough investigation will be carried out to ascertain the cause of the inferno.

He revealed that no life was lost to the fire, which had been put out by fire fighters at the multi-billion investment.

The government official said, “we made frantic effort to be able to stop the fire through fire fighters.

“We will do what it takes to investigate what the cause of the fire was”, he said.

TheNewspad reports that helpless residents in the Area watched with glee as the fire blaze the Cinema.

A close aide of the former Governor of Edo State said his boss who’s is one of the major employer of labour in Nigeria, is in shock.

The aide however declined further comment on the incident.

TheNewspad reports that ‘Kada Cinema’, Marina Resort, was inaugurated five years ago after Kada Cinema Plaza, Benin was opened.
