FG: Nigerians don’t see Tinubu’s achievements

The Minister of State for Steel Development, Uba Maigari has declared that most Nigerians are not paying a close attention to achievements of President Bola Tinubu-led federal government.

Speaking in an interview on Channels Television Monday morning brief, Maigari said the government is doing a lot to ease the economic hardship by Nigerians.

He revealed that President Tinubu recently commissioned CNG buses and made arrangement for CNG kits as a direct response to the hike in pump price of fuel and cushion the cost of transportation.

The Minister hinted that the economic hardship is being felt by the ruling class and the governed, noting that Depot Owners Association of Nigeria has also made their contributions to the CNG conversation met to serve Nigerians need.

According to him, “we are Nigerians like all Nigerians out there first and foremost. Of course, we feel everything that is there to feel or is being felt by Nigerians.

“Government is doing a lot. It’s probably because most people are not looking very closely at the things the government is doing.

“In a direct response to the issue of fuel price increase and how it affects the cost of transportation, I am sure you witnessed a programme when President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu flagged off or commissioned some CNG buses.

“Those ones you saw were just those that were brought to the Villa for the Commissioning ceremony. There is a Presidential Committee on CNG that is right now working on providing alternatives sources of fueling”, the Minister said.
