Bandits free Cleric, kidnap N100m ransom carrier

Bandits suspected to be kidnappers have held back Yusuf Shehu Ambi, who delivered the sum of N100 million ransom to release the abducted Pastor of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Samson Ndah Ali, in Mararaba Aboro, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The male ransom carrier was reportedly carrying the cash to pay for the release of kidnapped Cleric, when he was taken into hostage by the hoodlums, according to multiple reports.

Kidnappers took him on hostage and began to demand for additional money or other concessions in exchange for the releases of Ambi, a Secretary in the church.

Recall that Pastor Ali was taken into hostage from his residence in the early hours of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, barely two weeks after he was posted to the church.

His kidnappers had initially demanded a ransom of N100 million before they will release the kidnapped pastor, according to the report, which police authorities in Kaduna State have neither denied nor confirm to journalists.

TheNewspad reports that worshippers of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in Kaduna State are seeking divine intervention into the plague that has hit the church in recent time.
