Atiku leads opposition leaders to Buhari

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar on Friday led a delegation of politicians mainly in opposition party to visit ex-President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna State, leaving journalists guessing.

Former governors of Kaduna States, Nasir El-Rufai and Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, other top politicians, accompanied Atiku on the visit, according to a video shared on social media by the 2023 presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP.

The former President, Buhari was jocular in his usual manner during the session his guest had with him, according to Atiku’s post shared on social media, Friday.

Nasir El-Rufa’i knelt down to greet Buhari in the short video where other politicians had a handshake with him.

TheNewspad reports that the footage has triggered reactions in the internet with many Nigerians expressing their solidarity for the politicians, others described the obsession against President Bola Tinubu by the politicians as unreasonable.
