Suspected assailants have reportedly murdered a barber and another resident of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State in a cult-related violence that recently engulfed parts of Uzairue, Sabo, South Ibie, Auchi, and Aviele.
A top security source said the young barber was attacked at his shop, while another victim also knocked down in a ricochet at Aviele on Monday.
A local resident Salami Yusuf in a post shared on social media, appealed for urgent intervention by concerned authorities.
A local police Division in the locality evacuated bodies of the victims after the assailants had fled the crime scene.
The spokesman of the Nigeria Police Command in Edo State, CSP Moses Yamu has yet to comment on the latest incident.
