Apprentice commits suicide after 7 years service without reward

An apprentice, Ani Chisom Bright, has reportedly committed suicide after seven years of serving his boss without any financial support that would have enable him establish his own business.

In his suicide note titled, “God is the greatest”, the 30-year old man from South Eastern part of Nigeria, claimed to have worked with boss identified as Innocent Ulasi of Otolo Cars in Lagos State.

The victim reportedly took a poisonous substance and died as a result of frustration, according to
Promise Uzoma Okoro’s post that was shared by a Blogger Maria Ude Nwachi who shared photograph of the victim and his suicide note on Facebook, Tuesday.

According to the post which did not give further details said Ani’s decision to end his ordeal due to the alleged refusal of his boss Mr Innocent Ulasi of Otolo Cars Lagos refused to settle him after 7 years of hard Labour service.

“And For My Oga Innocent Ulasi (Otolo Cars). We will meet each other soon, but before we do that, you will hear from me soon, you made me go through a lot after serving you for 7 years with hard labour with you”, he said.

“he stated in the Su!c!de note titled God is the Greatest. He thereafter took a poisonous substance and died”.

TheNewspad is however yet to immediately verify the claim from the police high Command for further details.
