Police authorities have been confirmed the incident of death in connection with brawl that trailed the rally shortly after the departure of the APC Presidential Candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

Our Correspondent learned that most of the rented crowed, suspected to be students from higher institutions.

Some of the supporters from Orumba North who spoke to our Correspondent, expressed disappointment that those who brought them to the rally abandoned them to their fate, giving flimsy excuses and the new Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) economic measures as a decoy for denying each contingent across the Local Government Areas in the State their gratification.

This seeming madness and glaring ineptitude by the organisers of rally among other reasons, resulted to free-for-all as the Alex Ekwueme square in Awka, turned into a theater of war. Youths engaged themselves with all sorts of  weapons.

They invaded some buses carrying soft drinks and gala ,and carted away cartons, and bags of edibles brought by the party to distribute to the party supporters.

TheNewspad reports that the intervention of riot security operatives who braved the odds to control the angry youths, saved the situation from drifting further.

When contacted the Police Public Relations officer in Anambra State Command, DSP Ikenga Toochukwu to confirm the incident, he said he is yet to be briefed on the incident.
