Alamutu becomes Ogun CP after 31 years of service

CP Abiodun Alamutu has emerged the 36th Commissioner of Police in Ogun State Command, amid high expectation.

He took over from AIG Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji, 31 after he was enlisted into the Force after serving in most States of the federation.

CP Alamutu began his police career on 18th of May 1992 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police Course three at the Nigeria Police Academy Kaduna between 1992.

The Command’s spokesperson, SP. Omolola Odutola said in a statement said CP Alamutu holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lagos State University

“He has even in the toughest terrain as a seasoned officer of repute, he has exhibited bravity on his Job where he garnered both Administrative and Operational experiences over the years”, SP. Odutola said.

CP Alamutu Deputy Commissioner of Police Department of Administration and Finance Ogun State Command 2019 before he was promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police and posted to Commissioner of Police in the Command on the 30th June 2023.
