Aiydatiwa appoints activist Attorney General

Human right activist and lawyer, Olukayode Ajulo, SAN has been appointed Ondo State Commissioner for Justice and the State’s Attorney–General.

His appointment was conveyed in a statement by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.

Ajulo is among the first batch of appointed Commissions and Special Advisers.
into the State Executive Council whose names had been approved by Governor Aiyedatiwa who also appointed Mrs. Omowumi Isaac as the State Commissioner for Finance.

According to the statement, Engr. Razaq Obe heads the State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, while Akogun Akinwumi Sowore – Lands and Housing.

Mr. Niyi Oseni takes charge of Environment
alongside Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan who was appointed the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning in the State.

Similarly, Prof. Simidele Odimayo was appointed the Special Adviser on Health, while Dr. Olawunmi Egbayelo-Ilawole is Special Adviser to the Governor on Education.

Also appointed are Special Advises include Mrs. Olamide Falana – Gender, Abduganiyu Muhammed (Special Duties & Strategy), Hon. Gbenga Omole (Information) and
Mr. Summy Smart Francis (Entrepreneurship and Innovation).

Others are Mr. Alabi Johnson (Energy) and
Pastor Babalola Joseph Ayoade (Infrastructure, Lands and Housing), according to the statement.

TheNewspad reports that Nigeria Legal Practitioners Committee, confirmed Ajulor, and 57 silks, SAN in October 2023.
