The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, has paid a solidarity visit to a security checkpoint in Umuokpara Local Government Area of the State where gunmen recently attacked and killed two soldiers.
Spokesperson for the Command, SP Maureen Chiamaka said the CP Isah made security observations and provided advisory recommendations when he led senior officers in the Command to the security checkpoint.
SP Chiamaka said the Police boss and his entourage, conducted an operational patrol in the area that
extended to Onuimo in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State that shares boundary with Abia State.
In a statement, she said CP Isah met Lt. Imran Adamu Musa and team whose marale was boosted during the visit.
“Today 15/11/2024, at about 10:30hrs, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, and his entourage conducted an operational patrol at the recently attacked military checkpoint in Umuokpara, where they met Lt. Imran Adamu Musa and team on ground.
“In collaboration with Lt. Musa, the patrol extended to Onuimo in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo state that shares boundary with Abia State”, according to SP Chiamaka.
