Chief Imam receives SUV from Tinubu for promoting peace in Oyo

The joy of a popular Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdul-Ganiyu Agbotomokekere knew no bound when a Spot Utility Vehicle (SUV) arrived last weekend in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, was given to the Cleric by President Bola Tinubu in appreciation of his contributions to peacebuilding and religious harmony in Oyo State.

The lawmaker representing Oyo Central in the National Assembly, Senator Yunus Akintunde, formally handed over the vehicle to Agbotomokekere.

The gift which is a source of inspiration to others, has kept netizens talking on social media, where photographs of the Cleric and the vehicle surfaced online.

Agbotomokekere, is also the Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States.
