Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin will by the grace of Almighty God and his Royal ancestors round-off the Annual Igue festival with ‘Ugie Ewere’ ceremony on Monday December 30th 2024 when the Royal father will proclaim blessings.
In a statement, Osaigbovo Iguobaro, Chief Press Secretary to the Oba of Benin, invites all Chiefs, Edionwere (village/community heads, Ikao (traditional heads), Ohen (traditional Priests) and Okaigheles (youth leaders) to Ewere ceremony, which is meant to bring blessings to homes and all usher mankind into the new year to Oba Palace in Benin City, beginning at 1p.m. prompt.
