Arewa Youth Assembly for Good Leadership has threatened to embark on another round of nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests if President Bola Tinubu fails to implement their demands charter.
The Speaker of the group, Mr Abdul Danbature dropped the hint during on Wednesday Satellite Television interview where he revealed that the federal government had acknowledged their letter in response to the President recent call for dialogue.
Danbature said, “The problems we have are the Governors. You and I know the issue – fuel subsidy removal and inflation, which has affected the poor masses at the Local levels to the extent that it as caused a lot of insecurity”.
“Because there is no job, there will be insecurity. That has caused a lot of problems to our people most especially at the rural level. Since the President removed the fuel subsidy, there is no single development or anything that we have seen on ground that will benefit the poor masses directly.
“All they (ruling class) knows is allocations and some kind of monies that have being going between the President, Governors and the Senators. By the time we allow the President to keep on doing this without advocating for the masses, there will be a lot of frustrations. As you know, a lot of insecurity is going on in the North. It is because there is no much jobs for the youths at the Local levels”, Danbature said.
