The Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, has ordered the sack of Principals involved or aid Examinations’ malpractices during the forthcoming West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WAEC).
Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, gave the warning while briefing Principals, at a workshop held in Anambra State Branch office of the West African Examinations Council WAEC, ahead the 2023 Examinations.
The event which was organized in collaboration with the branch office of WAEC was held at St. John’s Secondary school Awka to task principals of Schools in the State to promote hard work and ensure that the State regain its prime position in education Nigeria.
The Commissioner revealed that following the poor performance of Supervisors that resulted to the closing of some schools for examination malpractice.
According to the Commissioner, all the former supervisors that were nominated by principals in the previous examinations have been replaced by new ones
“With the support of Principals, Anambra State would reclaim her position as the center of excellence in Education”, Prof. Chuma-Udeh
The Principals were also made to write an undertaking to support all efforts by governor Soludo administration to eradicate Examinations’ malpractice.
