Innocent Idibia, popular Nigerian music star, better known as 2Baba, has tied the knot with Natasha Osawuaru, the grand daughter of Chief Gabriel Osawuaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin.
As reported, Idibia’s traditionally married Edo lawmaker Natasha in a private ceremony, happened six months after the singer publicly announced his separation from longtime partner and wife of 12 years, Annie Macaulay.
Footages from the occasion surfaced on social media on Thursday, showcasing the excited Couple in regal traditional attire.
In spite of the public attention, 2Baba maintained that his relationship with Natasha had no bearing on the split.
Channels television recalls that their relationship became public in early February after 2Baba proposed to Natasha on Valentine’s Eve.
A notable moment in their journey occurred in April when Natasha visited the singer’s mother, Rose Idibia, according to the report.
TheNewspad recalls that Governor Hycinth Alia of Benue State, had appointed Idibia the Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
In April 2025, Natasha, lost her Deputy Majority Leader’ seat when the Principal officers of Edo State House of Assembly were reshuffled.
