Operatives of Hisbah Board attached to the Keebbi State Ministry of Religious Affairs have arrested 25 guests, comprising 12 males and 13 females for alleged sexual offences at Brothel Kebbi State.
Hisbah promotes public morality and enforces Sharia law operating through community policing, supervision of public behaviour, and ensuring compliance with Islamic ethical standards in some northern Nigeria States.

“On July 3, the Kebbi Hisbah Board carried out a raid at a hotel in Argungu and successfully apprehended 25 suspects allegedly involved in immoral activities,” he however did not disclose the identity of the suspects.
“The operation is part of the board’s ongoing efforts to combat social vices, promote moral values, and maintain peace and decency across Kebbi”, according to the Board official.
Kamba also revealed that the board would conduct a thorough investigation in accordance with the law, and anyone found culpable would face the appropriate legal process.
