What Okpebholo has to offer, says Oshiomhole

A former governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole has predicted that governance in Edo State will rise again if Sen. Monday Okpebholo is elected as the next Governor of the State.

He disclosed this at a campaign rally in Edo South Senatorial District with Okpebholo, Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for September 21, 2024 governorship election in the State.

Excited Oshiomhole who recalled how his political opponent tagged him illiterate while he was aspiring to govern the State, said he defined governance in Edo State when he assumed office.

He said, “You know when I was contesting, some people said I didn’t have Primary school Certificate, but, I knew that erosion is bad.

“I didn’t have Primary school Certificate, but I knew that we (Edo people) needed a beautiful hospital. I didn’t have Primary school Certificate, but I knew how to drive Mermaid from erosion areas in the State.

“I didn’t have Primary school Certificate, but I new how to put red roofs in our schools and replace it with old ones. I also knew the way to keep the party together is to respect elders.

“You say Oshio Baba. I will show you Oshio Children. The engine is slow, but the heartbeat is back. Edo will rise again! Edo will rise again!!”, Oshiomhole said.

The APC governorship Candidate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa and Lawrence Oka, accompanied him at the campaign rally.
