UBTH CMD disclaims fake Facebook account

The Chief Medical Director of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu has disclaimed a fake Facebook account set up in her name alongside her photograph.

 

The warning follows the discovery of a fake Facebook account using her identity to solicit fraudulent deals through unverified Facebook page, which is attributed to online scammers.

 

In a public notice, the CMD, denied any link with the fraudulent account, and advised members of the public against being deceived by dupes and scammers.

 

Accordingly, the public is cautioned against scams and fraudulent posts by individuals impersonating her on social media, she said.
