Traffic official bits off driver’s skin over alleged traffic violation in Edo

Subaru Donald, official of Edo State Traffic Management Agency, EDSTMA, has reportedly bits off the back skin of a mini bus driver over alleged breach of traffic rules that led to a fisticuffs.

 

The commercial bus driver whose identity is yet-to-be ascertained, attempted to attack EDSTMA official with a stone during the incident that occurred on Saturday in Benin City, the State Capital, when violence broke out.

 

The commercial mini bus driver was however overpowered by his attacker bit off his skin on his back for allegedly resisting arrest by members of EDSTMA officials who have him a hot chase untill his vehicle got stuck, leading to his arrest.

 

Narrating his ordeal in a viral video posted on social media,

Subaru Donald alleged that the driver put his life in danger when the EDSTMA officials flagged him down over colour code violation.

 

Donald explained that this was after he jumped into his vehicle and took him to another destination, when chaos erupted.

 

“He (driver) held me hostage in his vehicle and his colleagues told him to leave, but the driver blatantly refused.

 

“We started struggling with each other. Suddenly, he brought out a big stone and he wants to break my head”, Donald stated.
