Suspected cultists behead man in Edo

Suspected cultists have reported severed the head of a yet-to-be identified man at a criminal drug hideouts in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State.

Last weekend incident which occurred on Ehigiator Street, Uwelu Auto spare parts area of the State, has forced residents of the locality, to abandon their homes over brewing epidemic and interrogation by security operatives.

TheNewspad reports that the stench emanating from the decomposing headless body of the victim who was dumped at a nearby bush, is causing apprehension.

Already, the attention of operatives of the Nigeria Police at Ogida Division have been drawn to the tragedy by spare parts dealer and shop owners whose businesses were temporary shut down.

Contacted, spokesman of the Nigeria Police Command, CSP Moses Yamu, who was on a special duty, directed inquiry by TheNewspad reporter to ASP Eno Ikoedem Deputy Police Public Relations officer (2i/c) of the Police Command in Edo State.

The communication with our reporter and the police officer, who opted for Whatsapp channel discussion, was tossed after the message from the later sent to him went unreplied at time of filing this crime report.
