Police operatives are on the trail of 15 students in connection with the death of a female undergraduate of Taraba State University, TSU, Taraba State identified as Comfort Jimtop.
The students fled their off-the-campus house, after the 100-level Mass Communication student dead body was found dead in the apartment if her boyfriend identified as Emmanuel Shata who is also a student of Taraba State University.
The victim whose body was found in the afternoon of Friday September 11th under yet-to-be clear circumstances, but police sources linked the incident to drug-related.
Spokesman of the. Nigeria Police Command in Taraba State, ASP Leshen James, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview with Daily Trust.
He revealed that investigation was ongoing and the police were on the trail of Shata and other tenants, noting that men of the homicide Unit of the police had visited the crime scene.
