Sowore blasts Obaseki over investment in hotel

The Convener of #RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore, has berated Governor Godwin Obaseki for placing investment in Hospitality project over Education, in a veiled reference to the ongoing agitation by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities in Ambrose Ali University over poor funding of the state-owned institution.

Omoyele called out the outgoing Governor on social Media on Tuesday March 5, and wondered why “his likes never built 1,700 room students hostel throughout his 8-year tenure looking precisely like these hotel rooms”.

The social critic made the submission after the Governor inspected the project site where he assured that the multi-billion 170-room, “Edo Radisson Hotel” before the end of his tenure in office” on 12th November 2024.
