Security agents raid Malami’s residence

There was pandemonium at the weekend when security agents stormed the Abuja residence of

former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, who demanded a valid court order that give them the permission to carryout their assignment.

 

The incident happened hours after Atiku left, security operatives stormed Malami’s residence.

 

Malami, whose residence was raided by security agents, has been in detention for alleged money laundering, was recently granted bail.

 

In a footage of the incident, Malami, who was still dressed in the same attire in which he received Atiku was heard saying, “Where’s the court order you have to mark my property? Are you trying to embarrass me or what?”

 

According to Daily Trust,

Prominent chieftains of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, had visited him at his residence since he regained freedom.

 

TheNewspad reports that former Vice President, Abubakar Atiku had on Monday in a post on social media, criticized the ICPC over the continuous detention of former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai without trial.
