Grief has gripped the Oredo Local Government Area chapter of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), following the sudden passing of its Assistant Secretary, Hon. Scott Imarigbe, eulogized as a pillar of party growth.
The party, in a condolence statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, said Imarigbe was a committed member who contributed to the growth and development of the NDC in Oredo.
According to the statement, his dedication, loyalty and service to the party would remain in the memories of colleagues and others who worked with him.
The NDC said his death had left a painful void in the party, while extending its condolences to his immediate family, friends, colleagues and other loved ones.
It prayed to God to grant the bereaved family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
The party also prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul, saying: “May God grant the soul of Hon. Scott Imarigbe eternal rest.”
