Oshiomhole’s in-laws’ house burglary lands Cleric in custody

A Cleric known as Apostle Alfred Uyinosa has been arrested and detained by police operatives in connection with burglary incident that occured at late Clara Oshiomhole family residence at Ewohimi in Esan South South East Local Government Area of the State.

The Benin based Cleric who turned politician, was arrested by the police following a petition by a prominent Nigerian after he went to the residence where he made a damaging viral video skit on Clara’s home, and reported posted same on internet
without authorization.

Clara, died of breasts Cancer shortly after her husband, Senator Adams Oshiomhole was sworn-in as Governor of Edo State after a protracted legal tussle that led to Professor Oserheimen Osunbor’s
defeat in 2008.

Peeved by his action, the family of Clara’s family acting at the behest of Senator Adams Oshiomhole, petitioned the Inspector General of Police who ordered Uyinosa’s arrest.

Consequently, Uyinosa’s arrest and detention by security agents over allegations of conspiracy, breaking and entry into the residence with verifiable evidence.

Uyinosa had been accused of forcing his way into the Clara’s family house, when nobody was at home leading to the disappearance of valuables worth hundreds of millions of Naira in the promises.

Before Governor Godwin Obaseki’s staunch supporter and top fan of Asue Ighodalo, PDP Candidate
in September 21st Edo governorship election, arrest, Uyinosa, had reportedly accused Oshiomhole of abandoning his in-laws after the death of Clara in another viral video.

It was gathered that Uyinosa’s video was precipitated by a remarks about Mrs Betsy Governor Obaseki’s wife, being childless that generated wrinkles on the gentle face of history ahead of the governorship poll.

The incident happened months after the Cleric
laid curses on individuals cursing Governor Obaseki on social media for poor performance in office.

Worried by Uyinosa’s continues detention without trial in court, his fans on social media, launched campaign, demanding his unconditional release from police custody.

But, some online bees had denied the claims against Uyinosa whom they said was unduly been persecuted by high authorities.

TheNewspad campaign reports that campaigners on social media against what they termed “unlawful arrest” of Uyinosa, seem to have run out of steam as police High Command has vowed not to burge.

But, the State government, which has remained silent since the incident, seems to be looking on, having considered the grievious allegations, while Uyinosa’s family seeks divine intervention.
