His imperial Majesty, of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has joined his ancestors, TheNewspad reports.
The traditional ruler transited in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, barely 48 hours after he celebrated his 90th Birthday.
The Octogenarian, was installed as the Olubadan of Ibadanland on July 12, 2024, after holding the position of Balogun of Ibadanland.
The position of Olubadan rotates between the Egbe Agba (civil) and Balogun (military) lines.
Mourners have besieged his Palace, ahead of the official announcement by the Oyo State government is being awaited.
