Edo State governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Monday Okpebholo has dangled interest-free loans to Edo market women if he is elected Governor in the September 21st 2024 election.
He made the pledge on Monday at APC Oredo Local Government Area of the State where he harped on his 5-point agenda.
Okpebholo who promised employ 5,000 public school, assured Edo workers better days ahead, noting that brief case Consultants will be weeded out under his administration.
The APC governorship Candidate also promised to declared urgent intervention in State infrastructure and provide basic amenities,. including health, Agriculture and Education.
“There will be no Coming from somewhere to do your jobs. We will give them free hands to do their jobs without any interference”.
“Your salaries are guaranteed. Nobody is going to reduce it.
“Market women will get interest-free loans. Our schools, education will be given utmost priority”, he said.
According to him, “Security will be guaranteed. We are going to employ 5000 teachers soon”.
Addressing APC members and supporters, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and former deputy Governor of the State, Mr Pius Odubu urged voters across the 192 Wards to reject Peoples Democratic Party.
Odubu, accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of abandoning the Benin City storm water Master Plan project, initiated during the tenure of former Governor of the State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole who berated the PDP-led government of Obaseki for non-performance.
Earlier, Mary Idele-Alile, National Women Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress appealed to Edo women to support the Candidacy of Okpebholo and his running mate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa.
