The Management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife in Osun State has ordered investigation into the death of its undergraduate, Timilehin Adetoye Toromade.
In a statement, the spokesman of Obafemi Awolowo University, Abiodun Olarewaju said the part-three medical student reportedly died in his sleep in the early hours of Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
The institution has called for calm and solidarity during this period of mourning, offering prayers for the bereaved family and the repose of the student’s soul, while pledging counselling and support to students and staffers.
