Matawalle donates 2,500 bags of rice, cash to Christians in Zamfara

A former Governor of Zamfara State, Mohammed Bello Matawalle has donated 2,500 bags of rice and 90,000 cash sum to Christian Community in the State to enable them celebrate Christmas.

The donation was presented on his behalf by his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Rabiu Garba revealed that the gesture is an annual tradition and it’s meant to promote love and unity among the people.

He also stated that the donation convers Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Igbo and the Yoruba wing as well as the Yoruba-Northern Christians in the State.

Zamfara State government official, Umar Dan Fulani who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, assured that the gesture will not only help them to celebrate Christmas, but further promote harmony and peaceful coexistence in the State.
