A murder suspect, Shaibu Abdulsalam has been taken into police custody for allegedly stabbing his mistress to death at Love Brothel popularly known as ‘Small London’ area, Ogere in Ogun State.
A Divisional Police officer (DPO), Ogere Division was alerted that the 34-year-old Doosuur Aondofa’s death on December 30th 2024, while fleeing Abdulsalam was nabbed at Toll Gate area.
Addressing newsmen at the Nigeria Police Headquarters in Ogun State, CP Lanre Ogunlowo said a knife that was use to commit the heinous crime had been found at the scene of crime, which he said is under investigation.
He also confirmed the arrest of an intruder, Afeez Ayeteru, who reportedly murdered 80-year-old woman, Aduke Alukete
with a knife in her apartment at Ado-Odo area of Ogun State.
CP Ogunlowo said the incident was reported at Divisional Police Officer, Ado-Odo Division, while the suspect who attempted to flee after commiting the crime.
He revealed that the suspect was apprehended by police operatives, after a concerned neighbour of the victim made a distress call to police.
