Iyoha: Cultists use to draw debts in Edo govt house

Dr Osaigbovo Iyoha, Chief of Staff to Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has lauded the government sanitizing Edo State Government House, where he alleged Cultists use to converge and recover debts.

The Chief of Staff revealed this during an interview Channel Television where he rated the Governor’s achievements in the past seven years in office in the State high.

He alleged that, “the crime rate before Obaseki became Governor was high. We had cult groups coming into Government House, asking for their own money before elections”.

Iyoha also alleged that, “Immediately Obaseki came in, we trashed all this. When your come to Government House today, it’s like a place where you transact good business. There is trust from investors”.

“Is it EdoBEST, Edo Innovate or Edo Technical Hub, where we have brought in professionals like Decagon to assist us”, Dr Iyoha queried.

He further stated that “the Guys that brought Rema told us in Edo that it was the most successful show that they have ever held. We had 11,000 people in the stand at Ogbemudia stadium and probably another 11,000 on the field and outside.

“That is the show that started at 7p.m and ended at 3a.m., and we had no incident of a mobile phone been stolen or anyone been attacked”, the Chief of Staff stressed during the interview.
