Faeces for meal: Enugu Police arrest suspect after viral footage

Date:

The Nigeria police operatives have confirmed the arrest of a woman, accused of feeding a minor human waste as punishment over alleged disobedience to her orders in Enugu State.

The alleged violation of Child Rights Act, sparked outrage on social media by the suspect that traded her home discipline routine for a solitary conferment.

She was paraded by residents, particularly women who clearly had zero patience for this nonsense—decided to give her a custom neighborhood parade on July 23rd, 2026, without any marching band.

The spokesman of the Nigeria police Command in Enugu State, Superintendent Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the incident in an exclusive interview with The Newspad on Friday.

“The suspect has been arrested. She is police custody, and investigation is ongoing” according to Superintendent Ndukwe.

The police image maker has yet to neither disclose identity of the dark skin suspect, nor the exact location where the incident occurred.

The police spokesman also hinted on plans to make details of police investigation public a subsequent Press statement on the suspect whose idea of parenting discipline apparently belongs in a biohazard bin, is being awaited by the Media.
