DSS arrests NLC president, Joe Ajaero

The President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero was on Monday morning the the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by operatives of the Department of the State Service, DSS.

According to Vanguard, Ajero was about to board a flight to the United Kingdom, UK, for an official assignment when DSS nabbed him.

Sources said Ajaero was billed to attend the conference of Trade Union Congress, TUC, in the UK holding today.

The Labour Leader with Secretary of the Union, are billed to appear before police in Abuja this week to answer allegations of terrorism financing and other related matters his arrest.

Though the DSS has yet to confirm his arrest, has has triggered response on social Media space.

A statement by the Organized Labour is being awaited.
