Four suspected drug peddlers have been arrested by operatives of the Command’s Violent Crime Response Unit of the Nigeria police Command in Abia State.
The suspects are, David Chika Nwakamma, male, 50 years, of Amapuife, Osisioma LGA, Abia State, Stanley Moses known as “Rati Boy”, male, 33 years, of Njaba LGA, Imo State, Ibe Chisom, male, 29 years, of Mbaise LGA, Imo State, Austin GodsWill, male, 27 years, of Mbaise LGA, Imo State.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka who confirmed this in a statement, said the suspects were caught on July 16, 2026 acting on actionable intelligence by the police with suspected hard drugs and freshly substance suspected to be harvested cannabis, packaged for sale.
The command assured that investigations are ongoing and reiterated its commitment to ensuring that there is no hiding place for criminals in the State.
It enjoyed members of the public to support the Police by reporting any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or through the Command’s Emergency hotlines.
