A Benin-based suspected burglar seen wearing clothes stolen from a burgled boutique, has been arrested and taken into Police custody.
The suspect whose identity is yet to be revealed by the police, was said to have stolen the cloths in a nearby boutique around Adolor College school road in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State.
Ugbowo police Divisional sources said the middled aged criminal suspect was said to have broke into the boutique and looting clothes and escaped.
Luck however ran out of him when the owner of the boutique spotted him in one of the stolen clothes while he was hibernating opposite Adolor College on Monday morning.
The boutique owner secretly alerted brave youths who rounded him up, overpowered and beat up the suspect and thereafter handed the suspect over to police.
A top policeman attach to Ugbowo Divisional has requested the owner of the burgled boutique to give make useful statement for further investigation and diligent prosecution of the criminal suspect.
