Omo N’ Oba N’ Oba, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin Royal feast in honour of village heads (Edionwere), youths (Igbama) and youth leaders (Okaighele) across villages in Benin will hold on Friday October 18th.
The event, which has been schedule to begin at 1p.m Prompt in Oba Palace, is part of activities marking the Emorhϙ known as the new yam festival. It is designed by Benin people to consume new yam produce since ancient times in Benin.
Osaigbovo Iguobaro, the Chief Press Secretary to the Oba of Benin, stated that the feast, setting the stage for Oba Ewuare’s 8th commemorative service on Sunday October 20th 2024 at the Holy Aruosa Cathedral in Benin City, Edo State.
The joint statements accordingly, urge all well-meaning Edo sons and daughters are expected to join the Royal father at the service in the morning.
